+ How can I get a Silkpay Virtual UnionPay Prepaid Card?

If it's your first time requesting a card:

1- First you will need to register here.

2- After verifying your information, we will send you a confirmation email so that you can purchase your first card.

If you already purchased a Virtual Prepaid Card before:

• Log in to your Virtual Prepaid Card account.
• Click on "My cards" in the navigation and then on "Purchase my card".

Please note that the maximum number of card you can purchase is 3. If you already purchased 3 cards, the button "Purchase my card" will not be available.

+ How to purchase a card via bank transfer?

To purchase your Virtual UnionPay Prepaid Card via bank transfer you will need to:

• Open your bank App or website and initiate a transfer.
• Fill in Silkpay's bank account details as the beneficiary:

Fill in your ""Purchase reference"" we gave you in the “Transfer reason” / “Description”, “Remark” or “Reference”.

+ Where can I find the purchase reference?

The purchase reference will be given to you when you initiate the process of card purchase via bank transfer.

After you choose ""Bank transfer"" as a payment method, we will show you the instructions along with your purchase reference and where you need to mention it when doing a bank transfer.

+ Where can I manage my cards?

To manage your cards, log in to your Virtual Prepaid Card account and:

1- Click on "My cards" on the navigation menu on the left

2- Click on the card you want to manage

You will be redirected to your card details page where you can:

• Top-up your card
• Request your card information
• Block your card
• Add/edit your card's name
• Change your card's color

+ How to top-up my card?

To top up your card:

1- Log in to your Virtual Prepaid Card account

2- Click on "My cards" on the navigation menu on the left

3- Click on the card you want to top-up, then click on "Top-up"

4- Choose between Credit/debit card or bank transfer top-up and follow the instructions

In case of top-up via bank transfer, make sure to enter the “Reference” number given to you in the transfer reason/description so that we can top-up your card.

+ What is the Minimum top-up amount?

The Minimum top-up amount is 10 euros.

+ What is the top-up fee?

1.Credit/Debit card top-up:

• Administration fee: 3% on the top-up amount.
• Top-up fee: 3.5%. After subtracting the administration fee from your top-up amount, we calculate an additional fee of 3.5% on the remaining amount (minimum top-up fee required is 5€).

Example:

• Top-up amount: 100€.
• Administration fee: 3% of 100€ = 3€.
• Remaining amount: 100€ - 3€ = 97€.
• Top-up fee: 3.5% of 97€ = 3.395€ (< 5€, so we charge the minimum required of 5€).
• Total fee: 3€ (administration fee) + 5€ (top-up fee) = 8€.

2. Bank transfer top-up:

• **Administration fee: **0€. No administration fee for bank transfers.

• Top-up fee: 3.5% (with a minimum top-up fee of 5€).

Example:

• Top-up amount: 100€.
• Administration Fee: 0€ (no fee).
• Top-up Fee: 3.5% of 100€ = 3.50€ (< 5€, so we charge the minimum required of 5€).
• Total Fee: 0€ (administration fee) + 5€ (minimum top-up fee) = 5€.

+ Can I use the virtual Unionpay card to pay in brick and mortar stores?

No, you cannot use the card in physical stores. You can only use the card to pay on e-commerce websites.

You also cannot add the Virtual Unionpay to wallets such as WeChat or Apple wallets.

+ How can I make payments with my virtual Unionpay card ?

You can use your virtual Unionpay card to shop online.

On the checkout page:

1. Choose UnionPay, enter your virtual Unionpay card number and expiry date.
2. A confirmation code will be sent by text message to the mobile phone number provided to open the account.
3. Enter the code to confirm the payment.
